The Academy of Life Sciences will provide you with an academic foundation and technical skills that will enable you to continue your education beyond high school, leading to a desirable careers in the fields of Health Science and Animal Science. This is a unique opportunity for students to participate in a career‐focused learning community with other students who are interested in many of the same subjects. Applications from students to attend the Academy of Life Sciences will only be processed if the student is assigned to East Wake High School as the base school.
Through the academy, you will also learn skills such as communication, professionalism, legal responsibility, ethics, safety practices, and interpersonal dynamics.
